Features: a browser teleprompter built for creators
Web Prompter Pro packs the tools a creator needs to record a confident, on-camera take into a single browser-based teleprompter. There is no app to install and no studio software to configure โ you open the page, paste your script, and start reading. Everything is designed to keep your eyes on the lens and your delivery natural.
The reading view is designed around a smooth classic teleprompter experience. You can choose how many lines stay visible, place the script close to your camera, and use the layout in portrait or landscape depending on how your phone, foldable phone, tablet, or computer is mounted. On an unfolded device such as iPhone Duo or Samsung Galaxy Z Fold, the larger browser viewport gives the script and controls more room while keeping the workflow on one mobile device. The goal is simple: keep the words easy to follow without pulling your attention away from the lens.
Voice Follow is the feature that sets Web Prompter Pro apart. It uses your device's speech recognition to listen to your delivery and advance the script in real time, so the text moves at the pace you actually speak โ not a fixed speed you have to chase. Pause, and the prompter waits; ad-lib, loop back, or skip ahead, and it re-aligns to where you are. A calibration control lets you fine-tune how far the display leads your voice, so the next line appears exactly when you need it.
A draggable picture-in-picture preview shows your camera feed while you read, so you can frame your shot and watch your eyeline without leaving the prompter. The interface works in portrait and landscape, with a manual landscape mode that rotates the whole canvas for a rig-mounted phone. And because recording uses the browser's built-in media APIs, every take is captured and stored locally on your device โ nothing is uploaded, and you stay in full control of your footage.
Compatibility evidence
Browser & device compatibility
Web Prompter Pro is browser-first, so exact feature availability depends on the browser, operating system, device permissions, and the media APIs available on that device. Rather than publish a blanket compatibility claim, we separate environments verified in project QA from combinations that have not yet been independently verified end to end.
Verified in project QA
Chrome on Windows desktop
Verified
Clean Chrome sessions have been used to verify public-page rendering, application routing, and the core teleprompter interface on desktop. This evidence does not by itself claim that every camera, microphone, and recording combination is identical across all Windows hardware.
Android 11 ยท Redmi Note 8 Pro
Verified
Real-device QA verified touch controls, the microphone permission flow, and Voice Follow tracking spoken words through the script. Camera preview and full recording capture were not part of that specific Voice Follow verification, so we do not label them verified from this test.
Not yet independently verified
We do not currently publish an end-to-end verified support claim for Safari on iPhone or iPad, Safari on macOS, or Edge on Windows. The app may work where the required browser APIs are available, but those combinations still need repeatable project QA before we mark them as verified here.
Voice Follow
Requires browser speech-recognition support plus microphone permission. Recognition languages and behavior can vary by browser, operating system, and device.
Camera preview
Requires camera and microphone access through the browser's media-device APIs. Permission settings and available cameras are controlled by the browser and device.
Local recording
Requires browser recording and local-storage capabilities. Web Prompter Pro tries compatible media formats at runtime and reports when recording is not supported.
Compatibility evidence currently reflects project QA documented through September 23, 2026. We will only expand the verified list after running the same feature flow on additional browser and device combinations.
